QIs the legend of Crossing the Bridge Rice Noodles credible? Can the oil on top of the chicken soup really keep it warm?

Legend: During the Qing Dynasty in Mengzi, Yunnan, a scholar studied on a small island in the middle of a lake. His wife brought him meals every day, but by the time she crossed the bridge to the island, the food had gone cold. She偶然 discovered that the chicken fat floating on the surface of chicken soup could retain heat, so she invented the method of using scalding hot chicken soup + rice noodles + side ingredients — this is Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles. The legend has a scientific basis: chicken fat (fat) has a lower density than water and floats on the surface, forming a sealed layer that prevents heat loss — similar to the principle of a double-glazed cup. Scalding hot chicken soup (above 95°C), sealed under the chicken fat, can maintain a high temperature for more than 15 minutes. Authentic way to eat: ① Scalding hot chicken soup is served (a layer of chicken fat on the surface means no steam is visible, but the actual temperature is >95°C) ② First add quail eggs (they instantly solidify and cook) ③ Then add raw meat slices (chicken slices/fish slices/ham slices) ④ Then add vegetables (chives/bean sprouts/tofu skin) ⑤ Finally add the blanched rice noodles ⑥ Mix well and eat. The order of meat first, then vegetables, then raw ingredients must not be wrong — if the order is reversed, they won't cook. There are more than a dozen side ingredients: chicken slices/fish slices/pork tenderloin/ham/quail eggs/tofu skin/chives/bean sprouts/cilantro/scallions/zha cai/you ji zong. Mengzi, Yunnan is the hometown of Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles — the local chrysanthemum Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles is the highest version (edible chrysanthemum petals floating on the chicken soup).
